This poster was a solution for an on-campus orchestra event. The show had content from famous plays like Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, but the client did not want to much stereotypical iconography within the design (especially for copyright reasons). This solution features a dark atmosphere relevant to the solemn themes present in the show, as well as high-contrast typography to catch the viewers eye. The subtle sheet music texture makes it clear this is a musical event and the bold sans-serif has a modern yet classic feel.
